08/09: Live stage reading @ iO!

I’m honored to take the stage Friday, August 10th to read sketches from the stellar mind of Ethan Conley-Keck! Come through and take a shot any time I voice a non-human character.

08/08: Overtalking again!

I always have a great time with the boys over at the Overtalking Podcast. This time I brought my absolute A-game to talk about my childhood crush, Jeremy Sumpter and I guess we also talk about Peter Pan.

07/16: A proper lady

You know I’ve never taken a formal acting class? That is about to change as I start formal training next week with a voice over class at Acting Studio Chicago! Tee hee hoo hoo

07/05: SWIPED is back!

Y’all I am over the moon that SWIPED will return to the Annoyance Theatre this August on Thursdays @ 8:30pm, moving to 8pm in September, and we’re gunning for a Friday spot come January 2025! Let’s get heisting!

06/02: Beefin up my brain

I’m putting my student pants back on as I have begun classes at CiC! This program has been on my bucket list for a hot minute- I’m looking forward to learning a new style of improv and school of thought on this art form to which I hold so dear.

05/12: Liz Allen workshop @ The Home Comedy Theatre!!!

I am incredibly honored to be part of the first ever workshop at Chicago’s newest comedy theatre. More than that, I am tickled to take another class from dynamite improvisor and instructor Liz Allen. Cheers to many more.

04/19: To Hell & Back Again

I’ll be back on Hell Talk Radio Friday, April 19th @ Clash on Clark! Truly afraid of the character I will take on…

03/28: EXTENDED!!

SWIPED: Improvised Thievery has been extended to the end of May. This has been a lot of fun to perform and I’m delighted we get to continue the silly hijinks for another two months.

02/26: While You Were Vaping

We’re onto the next sketch show! I’m incredibly excited to join this cast of actors. Our show runs until the end of April! Catch us in the Blackout Cabaret every Friday at 7:30pm at the Second City.

01/08: First Show of 2024 booked!

I’m delighted to accept a spot on Swiped! This sneaky show will premiere next month at the Annoyance Theatre.


2023


12/16: Rudy Mendoza Workshop

This past Saturday I took a workshop from the incredible Rudy Mendoza. This was my first time engaging in Spolin games rather than just reading them and it was wonderful. Attendees were a mix from veterans to greenbeans and I had the honor of seeing some folk’s first ever improv scene, which is truly a treasure. Rudy holds workshops every month and I highly highly recommend that you make it out to one if you’re in the Chicago area.

12/02: LSI Show!

My new indie team “FROG” is hitting up Logan Square Improv this Friday at 10pm. Brave the cold for some froggy long tongue fun.

10/02: Second City show starting next month!

Heyo! I have a sketch show coming up next month with a talented and truly weird group of people. Come watch every Saturday in November at 7pm!

09/15: Oookie Spooky

I’ll be taking the stage one night only to tell the true story of a family of mass murderers who cursed my great grandfather to an untimely death. Catch me Thursday, 10/12 at iO!

09/03: Dream Blunt Rotation iO!

Heyo heyo I’m delighted to perform alongside a killer lineup of performers on Sunday, Sept 3rd! Catch us at 9pm in the Weed Theatre (ironic).

08/30: One night only!

08/16: Hell yeah.

It’s time to dip back into sketch! I’ve booked a comedy show as a writer and performer that will run Fridays in September at the Bughouse! Time to meet your sugar demon.

08/09: Thank you, red ball

My run with the Season 15 of Trigger Happy’s Lab Cast has come to a close. This was some of the most rewarding and fun work I’ve done as an improvisor. I will always be incredibly grateful to take part in this unique form with a bunch of little freaks.

08/05: Messing & Mason Workshop

WOW WOW WOW. This was a much needed splash in the face. I feel lucky to get some words of wisdom from these legendary women.

06/17: Raz in Chicago

Dave Razowsky visited Chicago to host an all day workshop! I had a hell of a time with a hell of a group. Can’t wait to catch his next one.

05/14: Another!

As I finish out the Annoyance Program, I have a classic student showcase. My class is creating and performing our own improvisational form! Our show dates are almost every Sunday in July. Come see it if you’re brave!

04/19: Extended!!!

Woah nelly! My show at iO was granted an extension! Come see us Sundays at 7pm through August 31st.

04/09: BOOKED AGAIN?

I am delighted, thrilled, & HONORED to announce that I will be performing on Trigger Happy’s Lab Cast for Season 15. We open in June. Cheers, y’all!

03/05 New time slot!

My new show has been bumped up to an earlier time! Assigned Reading will now take place Sundays at 7pm-April 23rd!

02/26: BOOKED!!!

Woo hoo! I’m stoked to be a part of the cast for an upcoming show at iO Theater. We’re presenting a new format of long-form: think of a cocktail of a La Ronde and a Harold, with a dash of literature… confused? Me too a little! Come see what I mean, we play every Sunday at 9pm for the next eight weeks.

01/23 Self-Tapes abound

This isn’t a project, but more so an update! I’ve been submitting self-tapes and auditioning like I’m actually getting paid to give my time. Fingers crossed I’ll have a booking update soon.


2022


11/16: Back on the Overtalking Podcast!

I was DELIGHTED to return to the show to talk about Jim Henson’s Labyrinth. This movie was a building block of my childhood. Me and the boys chatted about confetti, getting outside, and one of the stars of the movie stops by!

11/05: Monologist @iO!

I am pumped as hell to be performing during the re-opening weekend at iO theatre. You can catch me onstage as one of the monologists for the “Holidays from Hell” show!

08/24: One Degree Hotter

With the closing of the summer quarter, I have officially completed my Post-Baccalaureate Degree in creative writing. Nice!

07/23: Film Premiere at the Music Box

We closed our journey “With Nora” at a local Chicago Movie Theatre, The Music Box. It was surreal to see myself “on the big screen” for the first time. As you can see, I was jumping for joy.

06/27: Winner!

I am honored to have won “Best Actress” in the 2022 Women in Comedy Film Festival for “With Nora”. This was the final festival we decided to submit the film to. What a lovely note to end on.

05/10: Selected for the WCFF!

The short film I starred in “With Nora” was selected to be in the Chicago Women’s Comedy Film Festival! I am honored to be nominated for Best Actress and Best Film Editing. You can get tickets by clicking the picture here! June 26th at the Lincoln Lodge.

05/01: Guest-Starred on the Overtalking Podcast

I had such a blast talking about one of my all-time favorite movies on one of my all-time favorite podcasts! Click on the image to hear an intellectual and scholarly analysis of this goof-em classic movie.

02/09: Live Radio Play!

I’m one of the featured actors on episode 23 of The Whiskey Radio Hour! It will be streamed live via Facebook or available on Bandcamp afterward.

01/18: Booked!

I’ve officially booked my first show for 2022! Improvised Funeral will have a six week run at the Greenhouse Theatre in Lincoln Park. I’m delighted to be cast and I can’t wait to share more details.

10/14: That’s a wrap on season one!

10/01: Nominated for Breakthrough Female Performace

Honored to be one of the actresses nominated for “Breakout Female Performance” at Festival of Cinema NYC this year! I’m looking forward to sharing “With Nora” in 2022 so you can watch this film yourself.

06/21: Renewed for another Second City Show!

Y’ALL. Second City has offered an in-person show to me and my cast-mates! This will be similar to the online show we put on last year, but formatted for in person! It takes place July 27th, get your tickets by clicking the picture :D

06/15: Guest Starred on TIGW Podcast!

I had a blast with my fellow actor pals Justin Borak and Freddie Powers as we got into the nitty gritty of one of my all time favorite pieces of media- Gravity Falls. Give it a listen if you care to!

05/28: Selected for the Women’s Comedy Film Festival in Chicago!

05/15: Pre-Production is officially underway…

I am writing + directing a micro-short film this summer. “Bad Things” is set to be available for streaming fall 2021.

04/23: Our first win!

Festival season is kicking off and With Nora, my most recent short film, won the “best actress” category at BIFF Sweden! Hopefully it will be the first of many wins.

I was recently interviewed by Vulture Entertainment on my experience as a performer in Chicago during the pandemic. What my past and future plans are around improv, my thoughts on iO closing, and what it was like producing a virtual show with The Second City!

04/01: Performed at the St. Croix Festival Theatre!

I was honored to be one of the actors chosen to read these delightful one-minute pieces for the St. Croix Festival Theatre! What a creative way to bring performance to an online format. I got to have a brief taste of that theatre serotonin ;)

03/08 & 03/16: Guest-Starred on the AM 1066 Podcast!

AM 1066, a historical satire podcast, features the local radio station's broadcasts from the small town of Queen City, USA. Episodes take place in different years throughout the 1900’s, with absurdist takes on radio shows, commercials, and historical events from each episode’s year.

02/18: Podcast Premiere!

"Blank City, Nowhere" is an actual play anthology series about exploring the dark and storied past of an entire city, one RPG at a time. From paranormal high schoolers to pirate sailing the high seas, from haunted hotels to larger-than-life wrestlers, we'll create and explore a city with rich and engrossing history.
